The Reiki 2 course involves about 12 to 15 hours of tuition, initiation and practice, usually taught over three days.
Reiki 1 is a prerequisite for participating in the Reiki 2 course, although you do not need to have taken Reiki 1 with Andy.
You should have been actively using the first level of reiki for at least three months before considering moving on to the second level, six months or more is preferable.
The use of symbols by humans is discussed in general terms and three reiki symbols are learnt. Various day-to-day uses of the reiki symbols are taught. The process of sending reiki to someone at a distance is covered in depth, with plenty of practice. Apart from giving distance treatments, other powerful uses of the second level techniques are also taught.
After the course, you will be able to send reiki to someone wherever they are in the world. Your hands-on reiki will also be more powerful and you will be able to use the reiki symbols in many situations for purposes such as bringing harmony or protection.
The second level of reiki also gives you extremely powerful ways to accelerate your personal growth, heal past traumas, help harmonise relationships and to break through any blockages on your spiritual journey.
A certificate is awarded upon completion of the course.
You should actively use the second level techniques for at least six months (preferably a year or more) before considering the third level of reiki. You can read more about the third level on the following pages:
