when you find yourself
When you find yourself
When you find yourself no longer chasing after dreams, life becomes easier. life becomes more relaxed. life becomes more peaceful.
When you find yourself no longer convincing other people, no longer needing to convince them, no longer feeling the urge to seduce them, in this, life becomes more restful and more tolerant. In this there is a great liberty given to others.
When you find yourself, no longer feeling things as a problem, no longer feeling something needs to be fixed in life, no longer feeling that there is something wrong, that needs to be put right. When there is no longer a problem, then one can be at ease in life.
When you find yourself feeling paradoxes to be truthful, when logically inconsistent statements can coexist harmoniously, when the opposite sides of any argument are felt to have equal validity, when one can dwell in paradox there comes a great equanimity. And one extreme or the other will always feel half baked, a half truth, when we have found the truth in paradox.
When you find yourself caring more about this moment than the past or the future, when yesterday is felt like a story book and tomorrow is a fiction yet to be written, when you find yourself dwelling evermore in the present moment, there comes an intensity of presence. The awareness of this moment deepens and deepens.
When you find yourself caring more for the feeling of the moment, than the words being said about the moment, or the thoughts being thought about the moment, only then can we really enter the moment. Only when we can leave behind the words about life, can we really be life.
When you find yourself, feeling truth as a felt sense, rather than a concept, when truth is something embodied rather than talked about, then you can touch the deeper truths of life.
When you find yourself melting into beauty and love and truth, and when you can no longer distinguish between these three, then there comes a great integration, an integrity of being.
And when you find yourself disappearing altogether, into a vast, infinite, spacious, silent, stillness, when you find yourself here, now have you found yourself.
