try watching a wild animal
Go outdoors, preferably into somewhere quiet in nature. And when you happen to spot a wild animal, sit and watch it awhile. It does not matter whether it is a small animal, the tiniest ant will do; or something large, an elephant if you are so lucky. But be sure to find a truly wild animal, not one that has been domesticated.
Sit and watch the animal. Watch the way it moves as it goes about its business, efficiently, naturally.
Don't try to analyse too much what the animal is up to. No need to build a big story around it. Instead, try to feel the animal: it's simple instinctive way of living; no neurotic thoughts to trouble it; just a natural life; moving gracefully; with an un-thought-of nobility that comes from it being its natural self. It has a place in the world. It does not yearn for another way to be. It is not discontented with its lot in life. No. It's living its simple way; in tune with the rest of existence; a part of existence; naturally and simply.
So go out into nature and try watching a wild animal.
